Winemaker

Matt became winemaker at Walla Faces in 2008. Prior to joining Walla Faces he was the founder, owner and winemaker at Matthew Cellars in Woodinville, Washington for 15 years. While developing a national reputation, Matt produced premium Bordeaux-style wines at Matthew. Many of the wines scored 90+ points by national wine review publications. Matt’s 2003 Cabernet Franc scored 96 points from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate.

Matt’s experience and dedication to excellence is the perfect fit for Walla Faces wines. Matt has put his creative touches on our current wines, and is providing a strong direction for our future wine efforts. We are looking forward to a long working relationship with Matt.
